Clare,I had the same problem when I first tried to do a french twist/seam. I would look in the mirror and just go nuts because I could never get it. Well one day at work I was in a boring meeting and started messing with my hair. Next thing I had it in a French twist...even though I didn't have pins or anything. So I thought..hey..maybe I should stop looking.Congrats on your accomplishment. The inverted is no small feat. :-)Karen> I am proud of myself because I finally mastered> the inverted french braid. I am proud of myself because I finally mastered the inverted french braid. I have been pretty good at the traditional french braid, but the inverted one always stumped me. Well, I decided to try it by not looking in the mirror and just feeling my way through it and it came out great. Then I did it again this morning for work. I think that was what was messing me up, watching myself. Just wanted to share that. Now I have a new hairstyle!!
