Do some people have a more difficult time lifting their hair to blonde w/out red/orange? I can use 30 vol. developer (bleach & foils) & my hair lifts very well. I tried a 40 vol. "high lift tint" (4 levels) and it came up brassy. Even in my light brown areas (5)with ash color (blue/violet base) it came up brassy. Just wondering if some people just need to avoid toners :).thanks

When the brassy undertones appear, 'correct them' with the appropriate 'drabbers' to suppress the unwanted tones.william
