I noticed that some people have multi-colored dreads. Do they bleach the dreads after they are formed or before? Is this a common practice?

Hi,

You can bleach your dreads before, after or during their formation. Some people will actually add small strands of multi-colored hair and twist them into their dreads, kind of like yarn. Other will bleach individual dread strands. It is becoming more common.
