Ok so...my hair is black. I want to lighten it for the summer. I was thinking highlights...but should I do like caremel highlights or blonde? Any suggestions...please :-)

I like red streaks in black hair, myself. . . like Ariel-red. . . but I digress. Um, maybe a coppery brown might work. Blonde on black hair would make a zebra effect, which I don't think is very flattering no matter how many pop stars try it.

I agree. I have Blue Black hair and my friends want me to put in Red streaks. I liked in when I did it a few months ago, but I just got colored contacts and I don't think it would look right. If you like the Zebra look, try it, but I would strongly agree to stay away!!!
