I dyed my hair a dark burgandy color about 6 weeks ago, but i want to go back to my natural blonde now. if i bleach my hair, will it take out all or most of the color? if i wanted to recolor with another blonde so it could grow out more naturally, how long should i wait after bleaching?

Woah, going to another color after just six weeks is a reallly short time! But if u really can't wait skip the bleaching, use Colorfix instead, which can be bought at sally's to remove the red. Remember, red shades aren't AS bad as removing black. That will most prob take u to an orangey stage so don't panic, then u could go ahead w/ using a blonde Color (not bleach) w/ atleast 20 vol. developer to take u back to blonde, since ur hair is naturally light. I think, in ur situation, its better to use a color remover, rather than bleach it all out! I would've probably only recommended the bleaching to someoe w/ naturally dark hair who color their hair w/ a dark in a similar to their nat. color, and wanted to go blonde.
But most importantly, make sure that do a strand test w/ the remover AND the color to ensure that u get wht ur looking for, otherwise u wouldn't a hair disaster and an expenisve trip to the salon!
Oh and if the strand test doesn't turn out to be the right thing, then a highly recommend seeing a pro!

You would need a lot more straight peroxide to use it as a stripping agent than if you just used colorfix. The colorfix has peroxide in it, but the other ingredients help too, to remove the color from your hair in a much less damaging way than using tons of peroxide.

Yep, Susan's rite. Peroxide basically just aids hair treatments, such as color stripping, bleaching coloring etc. I've never known to directly have an efffect on lightening the hair. Not even w/ 40 vol...
