Who else noticed Paula Abdul's new cut last night on American Idol? Personally I think it's quite cute...healthier looking and more polished than the long layers, although I doubt Paula would look awful in *any* style.

I didn't see it but I wish I had now. I waswondering if she was going to do anything different this season. I thought it looked great with the length and layers...but a little weighted down. I guess I will have to wait till next week - or maybe one of you picture gurus can post a latest and greatest?jacqui

Are you a male or female BRandee?? Because if you're a female, you should know that's how most women talk about other women.... "She's cute", "She looks good", etc. Just because Lyris thinks that Paula would look good wearing any hairstyle doesn't in the least way imply that she's gay. I personally agree with Lyris. Paula is a beautiful woman and could probablly pull off just about any style.

I didn't (and won't) see Paula on American Idol, but I did see her on an LA morning show yesterday. Her hair is a lighter brown, shorter (close to the shoulders) and lots of flippy layers. Looked pretty good, I thought. Sorry, no pix though.

And by the way, I think the best way to deal with folks who post rude personal attacks on this board is to simply ignore them. Hopefully they'll just go away....

Another interesting Paula note....I just read a HB article and she's got naturally curly hair. You certainly wouldn't know by her current style.

I just saw Paula on ET last night. Her hair does look very cute. If you missed American Idol, just check out ET in the evenings... she's usually on just about every show.

It's just above her shoulders with lots of choppy layers and side-swept bangs. Very modern.

A. I say it because somebody has to say it. Paula looked better with long hair.
B. Growing your hair longer is a heck of an idea. Now if you could only gain celebrity status we could comment on your improved style in this space.

I was so envious of her long beautiful hair!!!
I was shocked to see it cut!! Yes, I'll admit she still looks good, but WOW her hair before was something special!!

Wow..great cut, great style and it looks great on her... Just my opinion but I'm betting she just took out her extentions and she's back to her real hair.
Lyris.. that style would look great on you too! even if you keep it long.... hummmm.. photoshop...
