I Want Girlfriend To Perm Hair...How?

I have a beautiful girlfriend that has straight hair and I
want her to get a curly perm but I do not know how to ask
her to get one. I know she loves me and she says that she
would do anything for me but I dont feel right asking her
that for fear of her not wanting it or something. She is
Italian and her hair is thick and I believe she would look
outstanding if her hair was a mane full of ringlets. Should
I subtlely mention that to her or should I just be
totally honest and tell her I want her to get a curly perm?
The perm would have to be extremely tight and very curly or
I wouldnt be happy. Is this asking too much? We have dated
for over a year and we are very much in love but something
about really tight,curly hair gets me all excited and I find
myself looking at girls with curly hair when I am not with
her. I am hoping for suggestions from both genders but I
really want to know what the girls think I should do. Please
respond quickly !!

First of all, don't abruptly bring up the subject. While in conversation alone, try to gradually move the subject to hair. To set the mood right, smooth her tresses and tell her how gorgeous her hair is. You have two choices. You can either tell her that you've dreamed about her with ringlet curls and was wondering if you'd get the chance to see it in real life, or you could twirl her locks and tell her that her hair would look and feel gorgeous if she'd try something different like temporarily perming her hair. Or you could try what Natalie suggested, and bring up the topic of hair and ask her if she ever thought about trying something different with it.
