My temple area has thinned out because of individual braids. I was wondering how long does it take if I use wildgrowth Oil?
Your results may vary from mine since our hair are different. After massaging the temples with the oil for a week, I could see fine new growth coming in. The broken hair had grown too by the end of the week

Tileta, you talked me into it, because this wild growth oil just sounds so exciting. I ordered two bottles yesterday, and I can`t wait for them to arrive. Also, my two Revostyler brushes were sent out last Friday. I will let you all know if this magic brush really does work on thick, frizzy hair!! You better believe that if it doesn`t work, l will complain about it. I`ll also be at the post office bright and early to send the brushes back for my refund. They were so expensive!

Are the brushes suppose to stimulate your scalp to promote growth or something? For some reason I do not brush my hair. I always thought that if I brushed then the bristles would snag my hair. I do massage my scalp at night though. Is there a website that have the brushes posted?

Karonica, you should try buying your oil from a beauty supply store. It is cheaper. I pay $7 per bottle. I think online it is like $11.
The brushes are supposed to be good for after you have washed your hair and once it has air dried, it is frizzy. Well, you put a piece of your frizzy hair in the rotating brush (not a big chunk). You can hold a blow-dryer at the hair if it isn`t dry yet. Then, you press the button (or however it turns on) and the brush will rotate. While it is rotating, the bristles of the brush are releasing tangles in the hair and it is thinning out the frizzies. When it is done (after maybe ten or twenty seconds), you release your hair and the hair is straighter and may have a big curl in it. I liked the look it was giving some people. Keep in mind that it will not make hair bone straight. I don`t like bone straight hair anyway. I like my hair to look thick, but not nasty and frizzy, if you know what I mean. Just check out the website, you`ll see what I`m talking about. It`s hard to explain.
Yeah I keep them in for about 21/2 months and take them out and let them rest for about 2 weeks then get the braids done over again. My hairline doesn`t look real bad but ok, my hair is really thick in the back and you can tell in the front that its thin because it doesnt look as thick as it does in the back.
Karonica, I will have to pass on the brush. I am going to start going to the hair dresser once a week for a wash and set. My hair is getting too long and it takes me for ever to wash, dry, and style. The longer it gets, the more it tangles after I wash it. I am doing some research on a few stylist in the area whom I am considering to take over the load of dealing with my hair every week.
Its just that if I pull my hair in a pony tail it'll look bad
When my edges break off after braids, I do not wear my hair pulled back. I just wear my normal wrap. Then you cannot even notice that I am missing hair in those areas. I am quite sure the rest of your hair has grown right?

Yep, I understand. I go to the salon every four weeks, because in between that time, I like to play in my hair and experiment. Right now, I am trying to get that wet and wavy look, even though my hair is relaxed. I tried John Frieda Relax Ripple Effect wave maker spray (have you heard of that?) and guess what, it REALLY WORKS! Not only does it make my hair look wavy, but it curls up my ends, almost giving me a naturally curly look. But I also get the frizzies with that stuff, but I think it just adds on to the look. Unfortunately, at my last salon my visit, my hairdresser told me that the stuff appears to be fighting the relaxer in my hair when it is curling it up. She advised me not to use it, or not to use it as often. But the stuff does work. Have you ever been able to achieve the wet and wavy look? My next attempt will be to apply some mousse to it and then scrunch. I don`t feel like starting a thread on this section, although I should.
YEAH, BRAIDS HAVE BEEN A BLESSING FOR ME. SEE ABOUT A YEAR AGO I HAD A PERM AND MY HAIR BEGAN TO BREAK OFF. WHAT I DID WAS PUT INDIVIDUAL BRAIDS IN AND LET IT GROW OUT ABOUT TWO INCHES. THEN I CUT OFF MY PERMED HAIR(IT NEEDED TO BE CUT BECAUSE THE PERM HAD DAMAGED MY HAIR.) FROM THEN ON IVE BEEN WEARING BRAIDS AND IVE SEEN A TREMENDOUS DIFFERENCE IN MY HAIR. IT HASNT BROKEN OFF AND IT`S SO MUCH MORE THICKER THAN IT USED TO BE. NOW THAT I HAVE REACHED THE LENGTH I WANT IM READY TO GET MY VIRGIN PERM, BUT NOT WITH MY HAIRLINE LOOKING THE WAY IT DOES.
Well, I too have tried to get the wet and wavy look. I washed and then put mousse on my hair. The only thing that looked wavy after I was done was my roots and that`s because it was time for a perm. I have not attempted since. I`ve never heard of John Frieda.

Well, you`ve heard of Frizz-Ease, I`m sure. Well, he`s the maker of that stuff. It really did work on my head though. Once I take the style out that I have in now, I may apply the mousse and scrunch. If that doesn`t wor, at least I have the wild growth on the way. Also, I didn`t lose much money by ordering the wild growth oil online. Two bottles cost me $19.98, including shipping and handling. I called the store that is closest to me that sellls it, and they charge $9 per bottle. Plus, it would have cost me $2.20 to ride the bus there and back to get the stuff, so I basically broke even.
