QuoteReplyTopic: eyebrow regrowth help needed - for man Posted: April 13 2005 at 12:24am
hi,
I posted this in the mens section but I was hoping maybe some of the women might be able to help out.
I have naturally very bushy unruly eyebrows and I began plucking them a
while ago to keep them neat. initially I overplucked them but theyve
grown back in to a size I like to maintain them at
however, in the middle, where there used to be unibrow, and above the
eyebrow, there always seems to be these little specs where I guess the
hair is regrowing. theyre very short, sometimes even under the the very
first layer of skin so that I almost have to dig them out a little to
get at them.
from a foot away theyre almost unnoticable, youd have to be actively
looking for it to spot it, and from anything farther than that theyre
virtually unseeable. However, close in, they are noticeable and I
always worry that women will find this unsightly when they get in close.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of this??? It seems like
these little regrowths are always there and always need constant
maintaining and theyre REALLY hard to get rid of with the tweezers.
any ideas on how to beat this?
(also is there anyways to reduce the size of pours where hair normally
grows? seems like theyre larger around my eyebrows than the rest of my
face)
thanks

I have this problem too. I have very fair, fine skin and very dark
eyebrows. Using a good facial scrub gently in the eyebrow area helps a
little. I use Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub about twice a week. This might
help with your pore size as well. Really though, the best solution I've
found to keep those little hairs as minimal as possible is to pluck every
day. I use a professional-quality tweezer and a magnifying mirror, and
sit directly in bright morning natural light. Some of the hairs will need to
be a little dug out to get them out, and some will need to grow a day or
two more before you can get them. I think you are probably more
sensitive about noticing them than most women would be. A tiny bit of
concealor helps to cover the little black spots as well as any redness from
plucking or digging out the little hairs. Many men use a dab of concealor
here or there on their face to cover noticeable imperfections. I don't think
most women would think this was weird. The fact that you are a man
who takes good care of your brows would probably be the thing most
women would notice about your eyebrows, anyway.
