Warm water is good because it helps to warm the pomade, but cool water is good too because it may helps to sooth an itching scalp.

It really don't make a difference over all because you are just trying to soften your hair enough so that your du rag and pomade with will do the rest. It's not that complicated.

after doin all the steps and i put my durag on then should i spray it with water and should it be warm or cold
