If there is a "waiting" game being played, include me out! Yes, Ann and her hair are looking more gorgeous than ever. With any luck, Ann may now be aware of the unsavory questions surrounding Locks of Love, and may have decided to keep her hair where it belongs - attached to HER! (lol)
I will never understand how anyone could be anxious to see such spectacular tresses disappear. It would be incredibly sad! Bob
On Today's show they did a makeover segment where someone cut off 15 inches of hair and donated it to Locks of Love. After the segment, Al made a comment to Ann "that's a lot of hair to cut off, but you know about that." Ann said "i haven't cut mine yet but will at some point." The waiting game continues.

Well, now that she's also co-hosting "Dateline NBC" in the evening, her bosses might not be in favor of such a drastic hair hack. On the other hand, as I have said in the past, I wouldn't put it past them to use it as a ratings ploy.

I tune into the Today Show pretty regularly and check out Ann Curry. Every morning, she seems to have her hair in a bun or have it tied back behind her head. I can't remember the last time she left it hanging. That being said, it looks great when she turns toward the monitor or toward her partners in the show.
Today was a longhair bonanza. Not only was Ann Curry doing the news, this year's Today Show bride to be was on -- with her hip-length hair. Yes, I taped the show.
Here's Ann from today's Today, looking longer than ever (Ann's on the left with the darker hair):
Well Then someone should get the that to all the networks because if you look of late there are a quite a few that are growing it out.

I think she will cut it. I could be remembering this
incorrectly, but I thought I read that she was going to
let it grow 10 inches before she cut and donated it.
But as far as keeping it long, normally I don't think
news networks like their anchors with long hair so I
doubt she will keep any significant length.

Ann Curry looks WONDERFUL with her long hair. It is a shame that organizations like "Locks of Love" even exist. I hope she changes her mind. It will be a sad day for NBC and it will make me not want to watch her.
Anyways, last week she wore a terrific bun which was captured and posted in the "buns" Yahoo group.

If she ever does, it will be one SAD day for her fans and NBC! Hopefully, people have sent her e-mails about the questionable practices of Locks of Love by now. Bob

Old news it was as some people put up in old posts that it was going to happen during sweeps week. But it didn't so who knows maybe she wants to grow it longer so she can keep some lenght when she does do it.

I like the pic of her with that article. . . definitely looked better with that hair than she does now, even if it is news anchor hair. Now if she could just get it that short, or shorter, but less helmet-like. . .
Funny she was named the dumbest person in television news. . . is that in intelligence, or worth? *wonders*

Don't wish to burst the bubble here but I found this:
New York, November 8, 2004 - Media Leadership Ann Curry, award-winning news anchor from the "Today Show" and NBC news correspondent, was honored with the Media Leadership Award in recognition of her impact on breast cancer awareness and education. Ann was personally touched by breast cancer when her sister was diagnosed with the disease in 1998, and since then she has dedicated personal and professional time to spreading awareness and education. Curry has addressed the issue of breast cancer at numerous public events, served on the board of national breast cancer organization, and has supported programs and organizations such as Women at Risk, the online breast cancer "Talking Dictionary," breastcancer.org, and cancerandcareers.org. At present, she and her young daughter are making a personal contribution to the cause: both are growing their hair so it can be donated to an organization that provides wigs for cancer patients.
I think she is still growing it. The only way we can tell is by watching the today show. LOL.
