I see now the ways of the soft brush....better connection but slower
wave time...but when you do use a hard brush ur hair just looks like a
bunch on lines not connected. So y use a hard brush ne ways??

I use different types of brushes based on the length of my hair. HERE IN THIS THREAD i explain the types of brushes i use and when i use them.
SOFT BRUSHES:
They're good for when you just got a hair cut,
connecting your waves when hair is short and manageable, and
maintaining your waves through out the day after removing du-rag.
MEDIUM/HARD BRUSHES: They are good for getting waves, making waves deeper, waves appear
quicker, better on longer hair, and great with tightly curled hair.
It is best to start with the soft. Then later ease up to like a
medium brush when hair gets longer. And if you can handled using a hard
brush(best when hair is really long) move on to that the last week(or
2)before you get a cut so you can get as many way possible before you
cut your hair. Then after your hair cut use the soft brush to connect
them and repeat.
All brushes have its benifits, you just have to know what's best for you for your type of hair and the length of your hair.
ayo loon, the reason why i said its best to start with a soft brush is
because most people when getting waves for some strange reason cut
their hair low before they start trying to get brush for waves, you
can't use a hard brush with short hair. another reason why its best to
start with a softer brush is because hard brushes are to darn hard to
start with if your not use to them(i couldn't start using a hard brush
until last week and thats after growing my hair for almost 2months).
loon i understand you feel like you know more than me, cause you
do have way better waves than i do, but keep in mind that i'm no
newbie, ive been in the wave game for over 10years(off and on), i
probably had waves when you were still sucking on a bottle, kid. so chill out.

yall all wrong..a brush is a brush..as long as it moves ya damn hair it works n will give u waves..yall talkin bout a hard brush gets waves faster n a soft takes longer..wtf..wut if u r mixed n got soft hair..thats totally bs..cuz soft hair will get waves with a soft juss as fast as a hard..look here yall..all u gotta do is find a brush that moves ya hair texture enough without any pains or wuteva n feels comfortable..period..!!soft brush connects better than any of the other brushes cuz its alot smoother n softer n also lays ya hair down while hard brushes leave ya hair frizzy after brushin..start off with wuteva is coo for ya texture then switch to a soft when ya hair is manageable
