I completely agree!
I was working as a salon assistant and was doing manicures and
pedicures at a salon here for like a month and a half before I left. I
did want to get into hairdressing, but I just wasn't happy in the
environment.
I feel that everyone deserves a job they love and one that they're
excited to go to every morning. And if you're not feeling like that
then you should be able to go find something that will make you happy!
Although, I still live at home, and am fortunate to have really supportive parents so I can afford to not work all the time :)

I can relate to what you're saying here, maybe that's why I do 3 jobs .
My regular work is teaching dance, which I totally love doing...well most of the time!
I also dance as well and get time-out from my regular job if something interesting comes along...my boss reckons it's good experience dancing in shows
My third job which I have been doing a little bit of recently is modelling. I did some fashion work a few weeks back and I'm doing a bridal show like now!
Couldn't stand a tedious job

I was a professional Baker from age 18yr.s to age 23yr.s, then (PUN INTENDED) I "Burnt" out. So I went back to school, and became a CNA(Certified nurses assistant). I enjoyed helping older folks.
I've volunteered with kids, as well as catering too.
Now, I'm embarking on an activities job with older folks. I love helping people, and meeting, and getting to know people.
Especially Older Folks. I'm still a"Baby" compared to the 80's and 90 year old folks. I bet I'll continue to grow, and love and laugh with them!;)
Love, Katie;)
God Bless,...
Katie

I actually love what I do. I work from home as a credit specialist and a loan officer. All day I am helping people repair their credit so they can by the American dream. I love seeing people that credit was tore up from the floor up and then in a couple of months they are able to obtain financing because they repaired there credit. This makes me feel good. I could do this for the rest of my life.
I'm 16 with a GED and it's impossible for me to find work. I almost got a job at a local walgreens, but apparently they sell cigarettes.. (I wanted to be a beauty consultant) and occasionally requires cashier work. damn.
other than that, no luck. and this may be a little embarressing but, according to -ahem-, state benefits, I am required to work, or be in some kind of college course... so I think I might go into cosmetology skip all the looking for a job bullsh*t and get to something I would actually enjoy doing. My dream career is to be an orthodontist, for the money of course, 60-80$ an hour, HELLO! But I'm not ready to spend 6+ years in college yet, nearest university is an hour away as well.
well to all the people that have crappy jobs, atleast you have one lol
I remember when I was working at Kmart when I was 16 I had to deal with some very annoying people and I was very ill-tempered and a serious hothead they used to ask me if we still have any of the sale items left I would go and check and there was none it would be sold out then they would start wining like 5 year olds I would just say we don't have it we just don't have it shoulda came earlier!!!!

Hmmm you are 16. Why don't you try a stop and shop or whatever your local super market is and apply there . Super markets always need people!!!

It would be ideal if we could all first be able figure out what we want to do and where are passion is. And then secondly, if we could all get the chance to do it. I work in marketing and pr which can be exciting at times but like most jobs it has its boring and tedious moments. I still am not sure if this is for me and if it's not, then what is?? I think sometime we'll all figure it out.
