QuoteReplyTopic: Does bleaching damage roots? Posted: August 15 2005 at 10:39pm
I have been bleeching my hair for 20 years now and i notice
that the new growth is not strong, but breaks off particulary
around my face. Could I have damaged the hair roots?
I know it is is time to stop bleaching but do I need a complete
chemical break, ie go back to my natural colour. This fills me
with horror as i am the original mousey brownish blondish . Is
there a way to colour my hair without harming it at all?Help! [:^

try posting this on the hair color board.. there might be alot of help there. all i can tell you is bleaching damages alot and if your new growth is brittle, i suggest you ask a professional because that may be a sign of something worst and you dont want your hair falling out by clumps =x. goodluck.
