I just found it! On advice from a friend, I tried Garnier Fructis's XXL Volume products.....Root Booster and Weightless Gel.

SWEET! I partially dried my hair before applying both products then dried the rest of the way upside down. Great volume! As I said in my other thread, I have long layers and about shoulder blade/almost BSL length hair. I just threw some curls along the bottom with a big curling iron and sprayed (lifting at the roots a bit) with Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play Harder. Not too much, though.....and VOILA!

thx for the tip, KellyH! So, does the XXL product grease up oily hair like
Garnier's other products do? I usually avoid them for that reason (I'm a
fifteen year old, of course the hormones give me mondo oily hair) but if
they don't totally grease it up I might just give 'em a try.

No, they are very light and weightless.

Then I'll have to try it! Thanks again. I've been using Thicker Fuller Hair
product for a while, but not too much results as far as fullness goes...
though my strands do seem a bit thicker, that's not really what I'm
looking for...

I think the key is partially drying your roots before applying BOTH products. It seemed to make a huge difference. My avatar pic is not an everyday style. It's my 'other' volume solution......the 'high maintenance' one. My hair's about 4 or 5 inches longer now and it's harder and harder to keep volume. The SE Texas humidity murders hairstyles. <sigh> Oh, it's no fun having fine/thin hair and loving where I live.  I do have awesome 'hair days' for about 2 1/2 months a year, though.

I have always loved the humidity because it makes my fine hair pouf and I love that. I consider myself lucky because I know how humidity kills most people's hair. I would think humidity would be good for other fine-haired girls as well.
