I have really thick, straight, short/medium length hair. I've used products like pomade, clay, mud, fibre putty but my hair still looks fluffy and sticks out at the sides.

Should I apply more product or look for another type of product?

well. you can either grow your hair longer, so that the sides will weigh down it self, or you can just keep it short.
