I'm at my year mark ladies ; My hair has gotten a lot healthier thanks to the hair boards and I've notice some growth as well, yay! ;D 2006 is all about hittin' APL then BSL. Let's get our grow on ladies!G

Tia, I love progress photos for that reason as well. When I started out I would stalk people's albums so I could get an idea of where I might be if I was good about no heat, bunning, etc. Wait a minute, why did I say "when I started"? Let me keep it real, I STILL stalk people's albums so I can see where I might be in 6 months with hopefully an additional 3 inches. Good luck to you girl, it can be done and we're gonna keep on growing!!!!!!!!

Grow, I was laughing so hard when I read your post cuz I am totally stalking every album I can find for just that reason!!!

It really makes a difference to see that what you think is just in your imagination can actually happen and there are people out there who have made progress on the same journey.  I started a fokti to track my progress, too...It's not really stalk-worthy, though...

Tia, I'm glad I'm not the only one! Sometimes I feel like a psycho and if any of my friends knew how much I'm lookin at other girl's hair pictures, they would think that I've DEFINITELY lost my mind! So it's my closet obsession, hahaha! But I love it and it keeps me motivated to keep on keepin on with the bunning, cowashes, and all that boring stuff. I have a friend who bust my balls on a regular basis for wearing my hair in a ponytail EVERYDAY. She even was tempted to get my hair done as a birthday gift cuz she was so tired of the ponytails, hahaha, but hey, I see in people's fotkis where my hair could potentially be if I keep doing what I'm doing so to hell with them all! I will learn to love this ponytail or bust!!! So you are not alone  Good luck to you, girl!!

Hey Cookies, thanks for the love girl!!! I do relax my hair and I'm pretty sure my hair is 4B (I wish it was 3B/C but as soon as the slightest bit of moisture hits my head, it shrivels up like a kinky prune, haha!) And it definitely seems like it stays the same length. I hear of girls that are getting an inch per month but alas, my hair grows at a snail's pace so the progress photos are all I have to try and keep me motivated. All in all, a year is a REALLY long time but I'm keepin hope alive that me and my snail hair will inch along and hopefully/eventually we'll get there!!! Thanks again Cookies!

Hey Grow, what protective styles did you use when your hair was at the starting length?  Since it's too short for a bun, I guess phony ponies?
