ok, i've read good reviews about the wawa straight..... and that it responds well to curling on a 265 degree curling iron.......so, my question is: how do i know when my hi/lo setting curling iron is at 265? is that the 'lo' setting?

i am thankful for you people that know what you are doing !

I used my professional curling iron, which gets VERY hot on Wawa and it didnt hurt it. I guess you'll know if the hair synges if its too hot.....LOL Id just try a test piece with different settings. But even at the highest settings mine didnt melt or fry.

As for how to tell how hot your curling iron is....Ive seen some little test strips somewhere....but cant remember where???

I didn't have any luck getting the wa wa to curl at all, regardless of heat setting.

I couldnt curl it dry. But if I wet the strand then curled and clipped the curl til cool, it curled like a charm!

Or if I used velcro rollers and steam or steam rollers. I think the key was the steam/heat and cooling in position.

Heres a picture of getting it TOOOOO curly! LOL

YAY!  I love the 'tooooooooo' curly look.... I had my hair curly and poofy today, and my just-turned-13-year-old daughter said that my hair is 'sooooooooooo last century'......I will NEVER stop loving big curly hair!

Is there a certain brand that tends to curl better, I was disappointed with some 'wavy' that I bought that just turned to stick straight again once I shampooed....

Thank you sherry, your advice on this board has been so very helpful!

Oh, I saw that and went to their site, unfortunately they do not have any!! I am a copycat. I have been looking for one like that.  Was it a recent shirt there?

naw....it was last summer. But I still see them in the store when I go in. Its just there basic graphic t-s that they always have on sale. in the baby t style. And aeropostale is written in fancy silver writing. Ive seen them in alot of different colors.

I cant gaurantee they have this exact one...they did the last time I was there. They always carry the baby t's and always have several styles with the silver/gold foil aeropostale signature.

Stunning install Sherrie.  You would never tell that you were wearing synthetic hair.  Does the wawa tangle?

Hi Sherrie...I just spent some time going over your wawa thread.  I was wondering if it would be useable for clip ins?  I'm not brave enough to try a full install yet, but I am getting there.  Also, did you razor the wawa for blending?

Thanks!!
