If I want my makeup to look really blended together, I apply the shadow with a sponge tip applicator and then just run my small eyeshadow brush over it in like a windsheild wiper motion. Also if you try using a powder (or even a skin tone eyeshadow) UNDER your shadow as a base before you put on the colors, it should make the color stay longer and brighter.
Hope I helped!

I use MAC cosmetics and all their products but when I apply the eyeshadow for special events it never comes out right. I want to show that it was blended together but still look good. Take for instance Beyonces makeup most of the time, it shows what color it is, with mine my color fades and I end up putting on more than neccessary. Any tips on application of the product?
