the picture needs to be hosted somewhere on the internet before you can post them here.
 
I use picturetrail.com I think photobucket is also another good hosting site

WHY DOES THE AVATAR MAKE ME LOOK SO FAT WHEN I UPLOAD THIS PIC??? THIS PIC IS NOT ON A WEBSITE, OR WEB HOSTING. IT IS FROM MY STORED PICTURES IN MY COMPUTER.

nope. To put a picture in the post, the picture has to be ON the internet somewhere. Whether it be a website somewhere on the net or on a picture hosting site.
