Does sleeping without a wave cap or a durag on bad for progress?

 
Sometimes when i only wear one wave cap, it be comin off at night and my hair kinda be displaced and frizzy but once i wet it and brush and wear 2 wave caps for like half an hour, i am back.
 
What i'm askin is if not wearing a wavecap/durags while sleeping consistantly for weeks (especially while wolfin) really gonna mess up my pattern?

Hell yea, you might as well brush ATG. the du rag and wave cap holds ur hair down while training it to grow horizontally instead of vertically.

Can't you just where a durag instead of a wave cap because a wave cap fills loose when you sleep.

yea but that durag if u dont where it write has side effects like cuttin ur waves short and givin u dat permanet line

wave caps actually give me lines too cuz they sooooo small is there a way i can widen them
