I have been going to my beautician for about 3 years and shes really good at what she does. She keeps myhair healthy and gives good advice for good hair health. Recently she left one location because she was having problems with management (she seems to have a hard time working and getting along with others if you ask me) now she does hair out of her own home(she has a home salon built up)...every since shes started to work out of her home shes become a tad bit sloppy. Not anything big my hair is doing better than ever but sometimes m mom would ask for an updo and she it would turn out lopsided....or she trimmed one side of my hair slightly shorter than the other(it wasnt THAT noticeable but still... :( ) well anyways I think ive figured out why shes become sloppy....earlier in the month my mama says she smelled rum on our beauticians breath and she ended up cutting my mamas hair slightly uneven....I just thought maybe she was having a bad day ....then the last time i got my hair done i saw in her cup she was having a vodka and orange juice mixture(i saw and smelled the drink and her breath). The more she drank the more obscene the convrsation between her and clients became. My mama said she talked to her about "riding a mand privated up and down". I love my beautician and shes really nice and does a good job but i think her drinking is kinda interfering with her job. I dont know what to do should i say something about it when i see that shes getting drunk or just find a non drinking on the job stylist?? plz i really would love to hear the responses on this one.

get the hell outa there.. and quick!! it seems to me, this beautician has had problems not only with management, but her drinking as well..of course, she's not going to come out and say, "Well, i drink on the job, and that's why i can't work in salons"
Being a sober alcoholic for over 20+ years now, i know that it's a personal issue, confronting them is not going to help..not unless you are a true/close friends, family or loved ones.
You could bring it up..i have no idea what her response/reaction might be...but while you're contemplating confronting her on her drinking and sloppy work..i suggest you start looking up another beautician with better work ethics.
some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.
