Wolfing is growing out your hair for longer periods than you normally do to get good depth and also to aid your connections. For example If you normally grow your hair out for 3-5 weeks before getting a cut then go for 6-8 (most black people)
*Note: if you are just starting in the wave game do not wolf until after you are on to your 3rd or 4th cut or you might do more harm to your waves than good.
There's your answer. Wolfing is good do it and do it often.
WHY SHOULNNT YOU WOLF WHEN FIRST STARTING OFF. WHAT DAMAGES CAN BE DONE?

lol, i know how those military barbers are. they dont take their time and dont really listen.im in the army. but your waves will come back jus keep brushin.it shouldnt take to long this time. as for the moisturizer just moisturize as needed cuz i learne my hair goes dry kinda fast so im always moisturizing.good luck be safe out there and brush brush brush.
Hey wuz up I need a lil advice. I followed the instructions and in about 6 weeks i had waves almost the 360. I went to the barber to get a No.1.5 and he basically cut all my dam hair off. He did go with the grain but he cut all my waves out. Now I am in my 2 weeks of continually brushing and following the steps but I only see like 5 or 6 waves in my head. I am currently in Iraq right now for the 3rd time and I decided if I make it back I am going to have waves. Are my waves gone for good now and wut do I have to do in order to get them back. I was in loved with my waves. Alot of people were commenting on them..now they are all gone. Could you help me out. Also i am using carrot creme and pink moisturizer..how do you know when you use it too much.
I'm sorry I took so long to respond but in the end it doesn't matter what type of shampoo you use I just listed all the ones that are more commonly used among wavers shyt I even use Suave sometimes the shampoo should be the least of your concerns for getting waves your brush is the best tool you can have aka your MVP.
