Autobiography of a Face by Lucy Grealy

it is an amazing book about a woman/girl who is diagnosed with jaw Cancer at the age of nine

it is a heartwrenching book about the struggles she went through during the Cancer and after the treatments

it is such a strong honest book about how people saw this girl and how she dealt with it

it's one of those books that makes you appreciate your own differences you have with your own image and that maybe having a bad hair day isn't the end of the world

I highly recommend reading it
I am at 32"
~goal length 36"

This book sounds amazing.  Thank you so much for recommending it.

It seems to me that great strides are being made with cancer these days so it's nice to read about how people deal with their own individual struggles.

A woman's face is her work of fiction. For Lucy Grealy the former is true
