Attention, everyone: Piper Perabo has a new 'do.

The actress, best known for her role as super shy Violet Sanford in "Coyote Ugly," debuted a textured blonde bob at the Peter Som show (part of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week).

"I just cut it off," she said, giggling. "I've never had short hair!"

It looks like it could be really cute -- I'd like to see her with it when she's all done up, like in the long-haired pic.

Well, you can say that again. I never thought Piper was much of a looker, even with her long hair, but that "before" photo shows otherwise. She was kind of off my radar. Maybe the new look will help her get more work -- not that any of us members of the "et al" regime would hire her.

     You are right, Jockey! I think that hers is one of the worst "makeovers" ever. Unlike you, Kramer, I always thought she was an incredible "looker".  Bad news indeed! Bob Ouch

Never thought much of her before and still don't think much of her. I also think the cut could be cute but still she is just not my taste.  Of course it is hard getting past that awful outfit she has on.

She may look cute with short hair...I'm just not crazy about the style of the cut.Seems a little uneven and blah.

It's not like her hair was ever real when it was properly long. If you look through Getty, she goes from fine-haired bob to very long, thick hair within months quite a few times. The longest I've seen her actual hair was recently, before she cut it.
