I've got very thin, wiry hair. It seems to grow straight up out of the cuticle, instead of lying flat, so my short hair always looks extremely frizzy even though it isn't. No amount of gel or mousse or pomade helps this: it just ends up coming back. My hair is stiff. If I run my hand through it dry, it'll just stick up. No gel needed.
It really does look horrible. My hair is always rough feeling, no matter what kind of shampoo/conditioner/product I use in it, and I'm always being told I have dry hair when I go in for a hair cut, which, with the amount of stuff they've already sold me for dry hair, I should have the healthiest hair ever. It's just how my hair is.
Only way I combat this "frizzy" look is by putting on a beanie right after I shower, which is OK since it's getting cold now. However, since my hair is so thin, this ends up making my hair look flat and gross. Plus, since it's thin, it's not exactly pretty.
Anybody have any ideas of what I can do or use to get my hair somewhat more manageable?
