What should I ask for to achieve this look?

I really like Kristen Stewart's haircolour and style (and no I don't want to be like her I just like it) and I want mine a mixture of the three photos in this question;

At the hairdressers, should I ask for a two-tone colour, auburn on top and black on the bottom? And what about the layers-does long subtle layers sound about right, with more volume on top and thinned out at the ends?

Also, does anyone know how I can make my hair flip back so its not in a parting-this only works when my hair is greasy (which obviously doesn't look very nice) otherwise it just falls straight back into place. I don't know, hairspray or wax maybe??
