Egg Shampoo
In a bowl, take one large egg separated. Beat egg white until foamy.
Now blend the yolk followed by the castile soap. Wet hair with warm
water. First massage half of the egg shampoo into scalp. Rinse well
then massage remaining shampoo into scalp. Leave on hair about 1 min.
Rinse thoroughly the hair with warm water.

This is one of the oldest beauty recipes. Eggs are full of protein. Beat two egg yolks in a glass of hot water. Strain, soak hair and scalp. Keep on for one hour. Rinse off with warm water.

Too much of a good thing can have the opposite effect. You should only be doing protein treatments if your hair needs more protein but many people are also protein sensitive and with too much their hair reacts negatively.
The egg protein treatment is great if you need protein because it is easy and affordable.
Many shampoos and conditioners on the market now contain different forms of protein for those of us who are a bit opposed to using raw egg in our hair.
