Hair loss can be because of different reasons like stress, not taking proper care or any other medical issue. You have to know your problem first, then only use any product on your hair. Otherwise it can be harmful for your hair.

Unfortunately Felicia, this is a myth.
Taking too much of some types of vitamins can cause hair loss, but not all vitamins.
Studies have indicated that people who take iron every day or take too much iron could wind up causing more hair to fall then if they weren't taking it.
One of the reasons the vitamins we developed here, does not have iron, is because after extensive study, we discovered that adding iron to the vitamins could potentially cause more shedding in some people.
Also, studies have shown that women over 50 should not take iron without the advice of a doctor. Iron has also been proven in some studies to accelerate hair loss.
