Ombre Is Not Just For Your Hair

Creating quite the color stir this season, ombre has made its way onto everything from long locks of hair to the most stylish apparel.

The unique fading technique of dark to light color brings a fresh infusion of vibrancy to blouses, skirts and dresses in the most unexpected way. 

From monochrome to multicolor, or in unison with prints, ombre is a modern yet romantic trend that needs to be in your Spring wardrobe!

Skinny jeans combine two of the season’s most playful trends: ombre and pastels. The fitted pants feature a degradation of lilac that starts at the hemline and fades to white at the waistline. Create an easy-going look by complementing the shade with a grey pocket tee or a sheer. Pair with off-white booties to complete the vibe.

Other great fashions for Spring 2012 include sharp white blazers layered over black leggings for an edgy, dressy look.  Again, ombre in play of white and black.

Combine minty green with vibrant tangerine or graphic tees and rugged boots.  Black and blue also create the ombre feel.  Color blocked sandals can be used to pull any look together.
