Katie Holmes' bangs are no doubt fake in this magazine cover photo and her hair is longer than in real life. I LOVE this photo. Tom Cruise is a fool.

It’s a nice photo but the bangs look like they are taking over her face a bit…she is beautiful and has a pretty face so I think she should lose the heavy bangs, go for something lighter. The photo also has a lot of contouring on her face and it makes her look more angular than she naturally does, but she still looks great.

The bangs are fake. The hair includes extensions. As I said in my opening sentence above.

Unless Katie is playing a homeless woman, her hair looks awful. Hard to believe she's had such great looking hair in the past.

I've noticed that in her candids she always looks like a 20 year old college student who was out until 3 AM and didn't care how she looked the next day. Of course there's a hairstylist on the set.

Confirmation that Katie is hair stupid.

“When it comes to hair, I find it easier to manage when it’s long. It’s just more versatile. I liked my hair short when [hair stylist] Enzo Angileri styled it – he did the cut. But when I tried it on my own, I was like, ‘This isn’t working!’”

There are a lot of hair stupid women out there. They just usually aren't movie stars who can sees a stylist on the set each day who can teach them how to do their hair.

I find this constant emphasis on ease of care over better cuts and styling sad but understandable on non-celeb women, baffling on rich celebrities. Katie was a hair icon with that sophisticated banged bob, and she gave it up because she doesn't think she could learn to style it well, and only one man on the planet could? Like half of Manhattan's stylists wouldn't do it daily for free if she asked?

To me she's gone back to looking like a pretty-but- forgettable teeny bopper.

I've been critical of Katie's hair, but here it looks like someone correctly used a curling iron and she looks beautiful. Make your own judgement whether Katie did this simple task herself.

When she's old she's gonna have one of those collapsible, Popeye faces--all eyes and mouth. I can't think too highly of anyone who has Victoria Beckham as a best pal. This look is ok--but her general style choices are truly awful.

Katie Holmes is one of the few ladies out there where I would have to say...yes. I completely agree. She has great hair, but her bob was spectacular on her.
