My name is Brook, and I'm new here. I just found this boaard, because I need help. I have medium-brown hair, and I told my stylist I wanted subtle highlights. What I got was blond streaks! It looks like something from the 80s. Can I fix it myself, or do I go back to my stylist? TIA

Brook,

I would go back to my stylist and tell her the highlights are a bit much. What she can do is put semi or permanent color which is 2-3 shades lighter than your normal hair color, and you will have subtle highlights.
