Okay I have been having this problem for years now. I have very pale skin and have been wearing makeup that is too tan for me. It is so hard for me to find foundation that actually looks normal on me. I don't want a pale looking face I want some color in it, but I don't want as much color as I have now. So what should I do? Should I go to the makeup people at the mall and ask them what makeup is the best and what I should use to make myself look like I have color but not too much?

Going to a MAC counter may be a help, that way you could try several shades of color to see what it would look like.  They also have moisturizing lotions with a touch of color have you tried any of them?  Or perhaps you can check out a bronzer, it would give you some color but not as much as powder.

My face color changes year round so what I do is mix two or three shades together until I get the "right" shade. This has been working for me for years.
