  I have short, fine, wispy hair. It is okay i guess sometimes because it has a lot of volume, but it's too wispy and its a little too much volume. Is there something I can do to make it less wispy and thick?

You are very lucky to have volume with fine hair.  Have you tried using conditioner for fine hair?  That might help you control the wispiness.  Also, the cut may make a difference.  If you go with something sort of blunt (as opposed to layers) it gives it more weight at the bottom and helps control the wisps.
