I have an idea of what a clarifying shampoo does but does it also help get rid of hair dye, like tend to strip it somehow? thanks

Different dyes are made of different things, so it may strip some dyes more than others, but yes, it is likely to cause more dye fading than using a non-clarifying shampoo.

(Just a note, blondes are lightened, so its not going to make blonde less light, but it may remove some of the toning stuff.   Reds and darker dyes would be more susceptible to getting removed by a clarifying shampoo.)
