How on earth do i get my hair to go like this.

Currently it is close but I can't get my fringe to stay swept back like that. It just keeps wanting to fall forward. The only way I can keep it back is by using a stupid amount of wax and then it has that gross shiny look. I need it to look natural like this... I have thought of blowdrying it perhaps? Or sea salt spray? HELPPPP
