Hair disaster!

My hair was at a point that it looked so good. I went from a do-it-at-home disaster to going and getting foils put in and it looked so much better. Went back again and had more foils put in 8 weeks later and it looked even better. Went in a 3rd time and the lightness of my hair had been achieved (sort of a coppery blond)and we decided to just do an all over color. I came out with an extremely unnatural bright copper and hated it. A week later on vacation I went in to get some blond and darker copper highlights put in. I like having the copper in the hair, but I want it natural looking and much more toned down. The last one is much closer to my natural color and would be easy to keep up. So more of a blondish brown but I'd like some subtle copper highlights in there as well. Is this possible to achieve? Can it be done at my next appt or over several appts?
