Hi,

I was doing some research and found my notes from a lecture I attended years ago on how to use real flowers for creating all natural dyes. Here is the list of flowers that are supposed to create the best hair dyes:

Acacia
African daisy
Anemone
Broom
Buttercup
Calendula
Camellia
Chamomile
Chrysanthemum
Daffodil
Dahlia
Daisy
Dock
Fennel
Geranium
Goldenrod
Hibiscus
Hollyhock
Iris
Lilac
Marigold
Morning gloar
Mullein
Pansy
Petunia
Rosemary
Saint-John`s wort
Snapdragon
Viola
Yarrow

Acaia as an example makes a beautiful yellow dye for blonde hair. Yellow dahlias are also good for a golden hair dye. Yellow dock will also create a good color for brightening blonde locks.

Best wishes,
Karen
