I have to tell you ladies, this synth hair is stunning. I have no idea how it will hold up over time. I have no idea if it'll last one week or 3 months. My feeling about hair is that the majority of it looks good right out of the package but it quickly can change into something horrific after the very first wash.

With that said. Let me say that I did not believe this hair could be so straight and curl so well. The photo below is done with a regular high heat curling iron. The hair just needs a spritz of water or wet your hand and run it down the strand before curling. It just springs, ladies! The curl is as much as you want it to be - tight or loose. The ends are not kinky or ratted up in any way.

I washed the part that I curled with shampoo and conditioner and the curl is still there. It is like totally set and looks exactly the same. I can run my fingers through the strand all the way through to the bottom and it does not catch at all. There is no roughness or kink.

Excuse me while I pick myself up off the floor. This is some of the most awesome synth hair I've seen.

Definately let us know how it holds up after a few washes.

Rae - I believe it is. The hair tag has a big bold NEW! ADVANCED FIBER! on it.

I am so not kidding. I am going to have to store this separately from my human hair because I cannot tell the difference. Well, actually I can - it's better looking!

I do not know the brand name. Why is it sellers are so protective of this? I guess they don't want us tracking down the source. Regardless - I have. It comes from China from UNIKO TRADING INC. I am trying to locate the company and send an email off to them. This is my lead so far -- http://www.alibaba.com/company/10088243.html - http://www.alibaba.com/company/10088243.html

The hair I got was 22" auburn color, 2 bulk units for a total of 4 oz. It has an amazing, fine thread woven in the top that helps secure the hair.

This is by no means a weft, it just helps the hair stay put while you pull it off to make strands. Has anyone seen this before??? You still have to take care getting the hair out but it eliminates the need for a mat or board.

Are you ready for the price? Under $10 for 4 oz. You may now all pick your jaws up off the floor.

Oh, that's georgeous! Did you pick it up at a beauty-supply store or order it online?

How does it compare to PlastikHaar in look and feel?

I've heard the Thermofibre is thinner than monofiber. Does it seem thinner than PH?

Do you know how many available lengths and colors they offer?

THAT'S THAT WA-WA BRAND!!! I bought some of that from a woman on eBay but all she had were very dark colors! If it's the same kind, it IS awesome. The #4 looks totally natural! Cool that you found it in that pretty auburn!

WA-WA? I think that's it! The WA is capitalized on both words so you're right! It's WA-WA! I thought it was just describing the hair. Duh. I'm blonde.

Here's the tag -

And here's where it is on eBay - the gal who runs it is named Carol. She's great and she's keeping her eyes open for longer blonde shades. She said she'll carry it the moment it's in - http://stores.ebay.com/Vixenwigs_W0QQssPageNameZl2QQtZkm - http://stores.ebay.com/Vixenwigs_W0QQssPageNameZl2QQtZkm

I'm test driving about a half dozen strands and I'll be able to tell more then. So far I think it's pretty exceptional.

That's it!! That's her!! Carol at Vixenwigs!! She is really great and nice! I emailed her about lighter colors and she did say she was going to get them - so she did! That is so awesome! And the price is totally right.
The hair I bought said it was Yaki Straight, but it is the smoothest yaki I've ever seen. Oh, I'm SOO glad to know she's expanded her color selection - that's great news.
Did you find it on eBay, amm? I was looking the other night and didn't it.
Never mind - I see you did find it on eBay. Mine is the exact same thing, same tag and everything. This very exciting news.
Cuz you know, Plastikhaar may be the bomb, but we must have domestic supply backup just in case some global mayhem cuts us off from trade with Switzerland!

Yes, I got it off eBay and it was under $10 for 4 oz. It actually weighed a little over. The length is 22" with the longer pieces going at 23-24". It's what I would call a full 22".

Well, she's got the auburn which is a really nice color. It's a true light auburn with no orange tones at all. I don't think she has anything lighter than this and I definitely can't wear an entire head this dark. I need some light blonde. This color right now is perfect for lowlights. I have about a half dozen in and they blend perfect with human hair. I feel totally safe with them in because I can catch them in the curling iron and they'll be fine. If I can't find a longer length in my color, I will keep the human hair in and supplement with synth. Anyone ever try that before? I may be the first. Weee!

I have the Yaki straight which is so not what I expected. The texture is not like a synth at all. It's better than some of the human hair I have right now.

I hate to be excited this early but if I've found a realistic hair at $10 for 4 oz and it blends and curls like this for the long haul, I'm going to pee myself.

Excellent. Thanks so much, Emma. I have bookmarked this link: http://www.hairsisters.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=171&osCsid=cad60de9388db6e9502caff3489e0738 - http://www.hairsisters.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=171&osCsid=cad60de9388db6e9502caff3489e0738

They have the blonde and medium brown colors at that site. It says 20" but I think this is the same 22" I have. If it is a couple inches shorter than what I wear, it's still good for layering on top and the underlayer can be my usual 24" or so.

Jenny - how does it compare to PH? Well, this curls obviously so it's going to really appeal to those who like to change the look of their hair. The curl has stayed put after two trial washings. I think you can use a straightening iron on it too but that's a very high heat. Haven't tested that yet. It's not as long as PH which will be a problem for some who like the super length over 24". But the feel of this hair is not like PH at all. The PH's ends felt a little rough after washing. This WA WA hair is soft as silk all the way through to the ends. It feels like Silky Straight Remy Cuticle. Even after 2 washings, the hair is unbelievably smooth and there's no flyaway with it.

As they say, extension hair is only as good as its last washing so we'll see how it performs over time. And at $10 for a 4oz bag, I'm pretty stoked.

Looks like ebonyline has a heat-resistant fiber, too:

And has anyone seen this:

Kanekalon is sometimes referred to as a heat-resistant fibre, too, although you wouldn't want to curl it with an iron. I wish there were a more consistent terminology for this stuff, so I could figure out how to search for the curlable stuff specifically. :)

sherrie,

goldenmart sent me this email re: length:

>>> Wa Wa single weft is approximatly 14" and Wavy is approximately 14-16". Thank You!<<<

I'm guessing it's the same as on hairsisters?

Edit: PS:another great set of links, Jenny. I think as long as it's thermofiber or whatever they call it and they say it can curl, it's probably going to work. That ebony link is superb. It has the length and the colors! ::perk::

Thanks, AMM. It really looks very promising. Perhaps someone should start importing this stuff direct from the manufactures overseas and start marketing it over here. Hell, if it's synth, I don't see why they can't make it in every length and color of the rainbow.

What's interesting is that this super-smooth hair is being marketed as Yaki. Still can't figure that one out!

:)

P.S. I elect Kristin for the import/export!

Ive already ordered the professional grade Kanekalon from Ebonyline. Ill see how it does when it gets here. I love having long hair but Im not much for curling it. Thats why I was looking for a synth that already has a curl to it. On Hair Sisters they have that WaWa with a body wave to it. If this Kanekalon dosnt work out I will give that one a try.

Here is another site for WaWa:

WaWa was a popular brand of synthetic hair that some of the girls on BHM used. I've never used synthetic but I think the consensus was that they liked WaWa but there was another brand called "Hot Stuff Fusion" by Janet Collection that they liked more.

You all can do a search on BHM but there's a ton of threads about WaWa and Hot Stuff.

The hair only lasted about 6 weeks and they said if you use the wrong product it can make the ends dry and to only use hot rollers to curl it and curling irons don't work.

Hot stuff can be found at Bella also: http:// - http://www.bellabeautysupply.net/272713.html - http://www.bellabeautysupply.net/272713.html

They also used a brand called Freetress, the reviews were mixed. I actually have some of this kind but never used it. http:// - http://www.snghair.com/ - http://www.snghair.com/

And I thought this brand of synthetic was interesting it's called "OPH" and supposedly you can dye it and perm it. I've never tried it but it's out there. http:// - http://www.royalimex.com/ - http://www.royalimex.com/ click on the banner that says "What is OPH?"

But overall I think WaWa is a good choice, I haven't heard too many complaints about it.

I'm really intrigued by the Ebonyline stuff, since they've got the longer lengths and the color I would want. It also seems like everyone here (including UK customers) have had good experiences with ebony, unlike some other companies (*coughs*).

I would love to get a perspective from some of the stylists who've been working with synth for awhile--Rae and BoogieMama come to mind--about these new synthetics v. the standard monofiber (Dome, Pro, PH).

:)

Oh, and AfroPuffs: Thanks for that info. I saw the Hot Stuff Fusion photos from one of the BHM members and they were gorgeous (I'm forgetting her name). I never searched for WaWa, though. I will now. :)

hey jenny was jut curious about where you can buy dome hair?

Posted By: Jenny_RR
Date Posted: February 12 2005 at 8:14am
Sure. It's here:
http://www.domeshoponline.com/ - http://www.domeshoponline.com/

A few things to note: Dome comes in two textures: Classic and Wavy (Classic is a loose wave; Wavy is, well, wavier). The lengths don't vary.

The prices aren't too bad, but they get you on the shipping (assuming you're in the U.S.).

Here's the monofiber:
http://www.domeshoponline.com/shop_us/erol.html - http://www.domeshoponline.com/shop_us/erol.html

I would not recommend buying Prolin: http://www.domeshoponline.com/shop_us/erol.html - http://www.domeshoponline.com/shop_us/erol.html
(which are blends of the monofiber colors), unless you have no other choice. The blends look nice, but you'll get about 1/4 of the hair for the price.

Good luck! :)

OK, having been a human hair junkie for the last 4 years and now, like all junkies, being completely wasted and out of money, I'm jumping on the synthetic bandwagon (I will melt, rather than burn, on the stake!! LOL)

I am a newbie to this thread so please forgive my incredibly stupid question - but how are you attaching the synth hair??

I ordered the Dome video quite a while ago but (yes I'm blonde) it was in the wrong format for my VCR... and the more I learn about it, it requires 4 hands which I haven't yet grown.

Inquiring minds want to know. . .many thanks. . .

OK I have found my sisterhood of the hair-obsessed. . . I have not MOVED from my chair here in 3 hours. . . Kristin, Jenny, AMM, sherrie. . .OK I'll stop now or I'll start crying. LOL. Anyway.

After further immersing myself I am just about decided that I am switching to shrinkies.

OK here's my question though. If I switch to synth hair do I still pretip it like I would human hair?? I'm going to use the liquid gold method so lovingly shared by either AMM or Kristin --

I will post pics.

Right now my hair is a WRECK -- I'll share it -- it's the remnants of my hairpiece extensions that I had to cut and I knew it was bad when my business partner told me she liked my hair because now I looked "like a mom" !!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK don't get me wrong I love being a mom but I wanna look like a rock star for all that $$ and time and hair love!!!

p.s. I just bought #27/613 and #4 of the WaWa from Hair Sisters. . .I can't wait for it to get here . . .

Hi FinaFina. I just want to add my 2 cents about shrinkies. I put almost a whole head on myself this last week, and am having massive shrinkie failure. I posted about this on another thread (Kristin & Hair Show). I think it's a combo of the fact that I put them in myself (hard to see back of head) and that they're tipped with LG. The LG is good cuz it really does keep the tip together, no shedding, but Kristin said she does her pretips with keratin glue which, when heated in the shrinkie, keeps the strand more secure. I've always been anti-glue, but now I see the point at least with pretips.
Just my latest finding. Your mileage may vary. Good luck!!

don't know about that. I'm just going to get a gun and some glue sticks today and those finger condoms and just do the tips the same way as the LG ones. Shouldn't be any more of a mess than the LG way.

Still curled! Still smooth! I'd like to point out that if you try to touch it up with a curling iron, it goes straight. You need to start over with wet hair and then redo. It doesn't seem to do as well as the first time, though. Wonder how this hair would do with a steam roller? Hmmm.

While WA WA does curl, you can't get a real good barrel curl from it. It's more like a loose wave like I pictured. It's pretty cool but just want to point out that it is not as responsive as human hair. Just want to make sure I don't over-hype the stuff. I remain cautiously optimistic.

Hey Amm I noticed too that the freetress or any other synthetic Ive experimented on takes a looser curl than human hair. So I think youd want to use a curling iron or rollers that are a few sizes smaller than youd use on human hair.

Yeah, I've been experimenting. I have an iron that's about the diameter of my finger and that's the one I used to get the curl that's pictured on this thread.

I also have a velvet flocked one that will probably be more gentle. The barrel might be a little too big, though. We'll see. It's fun to mix it up.

re: glues. Don't be afraid to try all sorts of glue when it comes to pre-tipping. I just used something called Fabri-Tac that I got from a fabric store.

The LG most definitely can be messy and that damn brush they call an applicator is about the most useless thing. I use it as sort of a spoon just to get it out and then use a popsicle stick or the handle side of a plastic utensil to do the application.

I'm not sure what the failure is with LG. Is there shedding? Is it sticking to your own hair?

Holy cow, I'm a way for a day, and it's the second coming of synthetic hair! That does look interesting, especially now that I have...straight hair! (I'm still giddy.) I no longer need to use human hair to match the texture.

I think the brand of thermofiber that Sherrie tried is the one that my Sally's is going to get this week or next. (I have shared my extension knowledge with the girls who work at my local--and apparently unusually large--Sally's, so now they tell me about new stuff I might find interesting.) Sherrie, I don't remember...was your main problem that the color was wrong?

And I agree with Amm about experimenting with glue. I've actually had good luck with cheapo latex glue coated with nail glue.

Leia, yeah I cant use it because the 613 is way too platinum for my hair. I could use it for highlights, but so far Im not having alot of luck finding more blonde shades to use along with it. I read in one of these threads that the freetress did get some mixed reviews on BHM. I dont really know if this stuff would hold up for the long haul or not? But for as inexpensive as it is, its worth trying out some test strands!

Sherrie, regarding my shrinkie failure: Just FYI, the LG tips do not shed hair at all. The hair stays in the strand just fine. It's the strand on the shrinkie that slides off of my own hair that is the problem. I can just slide them right out. My hair is silky and fine so there's that, plus there just aren't enough guts involved with the shrinkie to keep it attached to my hair. Kristin said that she tips her strands with keratin fusion glue so when it's heated up in the shrinkie, it adheres to the person's hair better than a tip coated with LG. Does that make sense? That's why I ordered Doc's glue gun and sticks today - the next batch of tips I make I'll do that way. Hopefully they'll stay in better.
I'm hesitant about using glue, but have been reading threads about removing keratin glue with the various stuff and I feel better about it. I don't think shrinkies will work for me otherwise.
Also FYI, microrings stay in much better on me, but I can feel their little metal jaws chewing my hair. Plus I'm having radiation treatments on my head starting next week and I can't have any metal, so they have to come out. But it was a good experiment to try them - they work well. Kind of a pain in the a**, tho, cuz they're so small and the tips have to be tiny.

Syren, it sounds like the shrinkie is just not getting hot enough when you install them and probably arent shrinking down tight enough. If you were able to make micro rings work in your hair the shrinkies should work too. Did you use a heat wand or flatiron with the shrinkies? I have found that my flatiron works, but is more inconsistant in the time it takes to shrink and how well they shrink.
As far as the keratin tipping. Ive tried it, it will work, but dont get too much glue or youll have bigger bonds than is necessary. I actually reheat the bonds with the heatwand to remove the extra glue and reroll them before installing them, so I have a tighter tip without the extra glue. But the keratin isnt going to fuse into your hair like when you are doing fusion bonding. There isnt enough direct heat on the fusion bond to do that, it may soften it enough to adhere to your hair a bit but not to actually bond strong.

Good luck with your treatment, hope all goes well for you!

Sorry to hijack this thread, girls, but....
Sherrie! You think that's my problem? Not hot enough on the shrinkie? That may be it cuz when I slide them out, the shrinkie is still white and still somewhat rounded even tho I thought I rolled it while hot. Problem is I can't see well in the back and just do it by feel mostly (big mistake). And for sure they haven't shrunk down to the size of a microring, no way. Hmmm. Faulty installation, eh?
Oh yeah, and I use Doc's heat wand thing for shrinkies.
Thanks for the keratin info too. Okay. Onward with more experiments.

Just got my Dome/PH installed! And will post pics just as soon as I can figure it all out. It's quite wavy now, but I'm sure it's bound to get straighter. Four different colors of blonde, and Isaac combined them so thoroughly they almost look like one color--LOL. Did someone ask what I use? I get pinchbraids done at cyberparlor, though I've been experimenting with other things.

I also think I wasn't cooking the shrinkies for long enough.

Yes, there's a big price difference between Dome and PH when all is said and done. (Dome really gets you on the shipping, too). :)

AMM don't worry about over-hyping the synth hair -- I've been fascinated with it for a while (since discovering Dome) but thought I couldn't do it because I didn't think I could apply it with any method other than the braiding one.

I'm thinking I would like to try some Plastikhaar too. . .but I didn't want to have to spend $55 on the color ring. . .is there any translation between those charming German names and colors as we know them? ?

I'm afraid I"ll make the choice based on the flavor. Is there a pfefferneuse in there??? LOL

FinaFina, the best way to get help picking Plastikhaar colors is to either email Sara at plastikhaar.ch or to post a question for Rae (or email her through her Hair Alchemy site). Rae has a color ring, and Sara IS Plastikhaar, so just say (for example) I'm looking for a #4 brown with a warm tone or what's the darkest shade of red. They'll have good explanations for you.

Hey Fina!

It's great to "see" someone so close to me! I'm only about 4 hours from Dallas. My best friend lives in Lewisville..she is originally from Plano. Anyway, I get my hair done by a lady in Tulsa. I just get tracts glued in (I buy the hair, and she glues them in and then razor cuts, blends, etc. the hair). She only charges me $80, and my hair costs about $35 for a bag of 16-18" hair (that's as long as I can get it at this particular store). To be honest, I had no earthly idea that there were so many differents ways to install extensions, so many different types of hair, etc. The hair I use is human hair, and it seems to be okay as far as the quality...especially since I usually only wear the extensions for about 2 weeks at a time. I've been looking for a "longer-term" extension lately though..that's how I found this board. I actually have an appt. to have the fusion extensions done this week. I have two BIG events coming up, and I need to hair to look good and last for those (one is Feb. 26th, and the other is March 4th). I just can't afford to spend a ton of $$$ though. I called probably 50-75 different places in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City areas...the cheapest for the fusion-type extensions I found was $500, and the most expensive was about $1200. This includes the hair. I'm a bit skeptical about the girl that is only charging $500, just because I've been told that she is either not going to use enough hair, or she is really not making any money on them herself. I've called her several times though, and I'm going in first for a consultation so I can see her before and after pics of the girls she's done recently, etc. BUT...I did talk to a good friend of mine last night online that said she has a lady that will do mine for no more than $300 (she is in Oklahoma City). The reason she will do them so inexpensively is because the first "event" I'm doing is the 'Mrs. Oklahoma United States' pageant (yes, it's okay to laugh at me! haha!), and this particular lady has done several of the past queens, including the director of the pageant itself. So I guess she gives a "discount" for pageant contestants. I have no idea which method she uses, what type of hair, etc. though. I guess as long as she knows how to do "pageant hair", then I'm good to go. I'll definitely let you know what I find out about this lady. Also, I can probably give you info. on just about any salon in Oklahoma at this point...as far as their rates, what method they use, the hair they "claim" to use, etc...just from calling around so much. As I've mentioned before though, I really want my husband to learn to put them in for me...he has had to glue my tracts in before, and he did just as good of a job as the lady that normally does my hair. He just can't cut it afterwards! haha! He's as "vain" as I am, so he doesn't have a problem messing with my hair. Anyway, didn't mean for this to turn into a novel....do you have extensions in now? If so, who does yours, what kind do you have, etc.? I need all the help/info. I can get!!! After reading this board for the past several days, I guess I'm really lucky that I haven't really damaged my hair with my glued-in tracts. She uses LG, and I've been pretty rough with them as far as taking them out myself, etc.

I look forward to getting to know you better (and everyone else here, for that matter! Everyone is so friendly and full of awesome info!)!

Hey Beauty Queens!

We *have* a beauty queen for real amongst us!!

OK Missy, if you've been able to have glued-in tracks and have your hair look *that* awesome, MORE power to ya!!

My experience with the glue-ins was sheer, complete, total, unadulterated, DISASTER. Just did not work, fell out, etc. My other various extensions experience prior to Great Lengths were just as bad.

I've been a GL addict for 3 years and essentially can't afford it anymore. If you read the boards I think it's clear that you *CAN* and *SHOULD* be able to get absolutely ROCKIN', HEAD-TURNIN', PEE-YOUR-PANTS, FALL-ON-THE-FLOOR, DROP DEAD GAWGEAOUS hair for about $500. See Jenny's Cyber-parlor show-off thread (I think you have seen it).

The trick is getting the right hair, the right attachment method, and the right person to do it. (Gee, could I be any more *obvious*?)

So that's, I think, one of the reasons we're here, is to support each other and find the right solutions.

I was very spoiled with GL hair since the quality is so fine -- but the price is SO high. I believe I can get hair nearly as good, pre-tip it myself, and as long as it's attached properly, have an awesome result. I like my hair to last about 8 weeks.

I've contacted several different stylists here in Dallas -- I'm checking with local "braiding" experts, something called "Agape" studio, and I'll see where that takes me.

I will let you know what I find -- thanks for the post and I look forward to hearing more about your adventures!!

glue is wonderful for temporary extensions (for me at least, I take all the time in the world to remove it properly):)

I would glue them in for a temporary look, or braid hair in for a longer lasting look.

This is actually my first time with shrinkies, and I think Im in love

I didn't want to hijack another thread so I'll put the answer to the WaWa here.

Yep, I am still wearing about a half dozen. The only way to truly evaluate them is to wear a whole head so take this with a grain of salt.

I am amazed at how nicely this blends with human hair. Because you can blow dry and curl it, I don't have to worry about it getting wrapped up in the iron when I touch up my hair. It also holds a nice wave after a night sleeping in braids.

I have another batch on order and I'll be putting more in. I'm THAT pleased with it so far. I know there's a body wave out there and I wish I could try that but it's too short.

A big barrel curling iron does not work well with this hair - it will straighten the hair right out. Standard size isn't the best either. A small barrel is a must and the hair needs a light misting with water and then curl it. Works like a charm.

When you wash the hair, it holds the curl that is currently in. It remains completely soft without any straw-like feel and it's feather light when wet, drying way faster than human hair. No special products have been needed other than what I use on human hair.

The hair is layered and you notice that after washing and curling. To me that's a non-issue when I'm dealing with a synthetic this nice at around $10 for 4 oz.

So far so good. It'll be interesting to try a full head of it. If it lasts at least 3 months without a considerable hassle, then I'd consider this hair a totally great deal.

Hiya Amm,

You must have gotten my psychic message last night. . .I was laying in bed thinking about hair (as usual), and I remembered that you started this thread discussing WaWa and showing how incredible it is to work with.

We've all been so crazed by Plastik that I forgot to ask how it was holding up. I've got quite a bit of it on order but I don't know what the hold up is. I'm gonna call Hair Sisters today and find out where it is!! I am planning on doing a good deal of it in my hair.

THANKS AGAIN for posting the update!!

FinaFina

Edit later: Just spoke to Hair Sisters. Apparently they don't stock the blondes at their site in California; he said it had to be shipped "directly from New York". I'm hoping they have it there. Will advise.

I just got the package today from ebonyline. Its the thermal synthetic that weve been chatting about
http://www.ebonyline.com/goyabubrha.html - http://www.ebonyline.com/goyabubrha.html

This stuff looks amazing. It is really soft, and pretty. And not even shiney. It has way less sheen than the freetress. I dont think that PH is too shiney either and this stuff is 'duller' in appearance than the PH. This is definitely difficult to tell from human hair.

The labeling on the package says "Amour' Hair Collection. New Age Fiber. And on the back of the package is the name Chade Fashions Inc.

Will try to get some pictures of it tomorrow. My daughter is gone and wont be home til late and she has the camera.

I am eager to do some playing around with this hair. It is sooooo pretty!

what is the brand name you are referring to?? I just picked some up with the name sassy's that is effing awesome, but I am new to hair, so I don't know how this holds up to long term care hair...but it too is labeled thermafiber. And claims to be able to be curled.

STS, I think that's it. Was it about $14.99 or so for a weft? I just know it's in the sale ad.

Sherrie, I wasn't too sure about this lady at Sally's (I don' t know where my usual friendly salespeople were). She was apparently going to do extension for a customer, but she was telling the customer to buy the regular kanekalon wefts! This girl had wavy hair!! The girl was disappointed when she was told that you can't curl the cheap synth, but I suggested the thermofiber. The lady who was going to do the extensions (I'm betting a weave track) couldn't even get the thermofiber out for her weave customer? I don't get it.

Oh Im telling you.... this ebonyline stuff looks so much like human hair that I could easily get it mixed up! Not one of the other synthetics look this close to human, that Ive seen so far. This stuff does not have the synthetic shine. But I dont mind the PH slight shine. At least the colors I have in PH seem ore matte than some synthetic that Ive seen.

Just to correct my post Jenny about the longest thermofiber Ive seen.

American Dream has Thermofiber on wefts or in bulk in 18 different shades in ALOT of blonde shades ( 6 or 7 shades of blonde alone.)

You can get it in 4 different textures. Some wefted, some bulk. Some dyeable, some not.

Wefted- Dyeing:
18 in 100 grams $18.83
36 in 200 grams $37.68
60 in 400 grams $62.11

Bulk- Non Dyeing:
18 in 112 grams $16.87
20 in 112 grams $20.64

Although AD is in London and Im not sure about therir shipping charges to US etc....

Yup. thats it! someone said it sucks, so i may just put it on clips so it isn't a hair I wear every day, so it can last a while without washing

Hey Sherrie -

We've been chatting about a few kinds of "thermal" fibers--I think anyway--

Is the ebonyonline stuff you just got curlable with a regular curling iron? Do you plan on putting some in ?

I'm bummed my WaWa won't be here until the 22nd! At that rate it looks like my PH will be here first! But I'm worried about not having enough wave in the PH (which you had thought was a problem since you don't like yours straight -- I don't like mine straight either cuz it doesn't blend with my hair which has a slight wave.)

Thanks! From the soap-opera lady,
Fina
