Hello, along time ago I went to a department store and was told by one of the girls at the makeup counter that I should stick to pink colors.

Ever since, all I have worn is pink for eyeshadow, lip gloss, and blush.

I want to try something new, but I am not sure what colors to go for. I have a beauty pageant coming up and I want to use my new color schemes for it. Here is my picture. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, should I wear black mascara or brown?
And what color eyeliner?

I think you should try a shimmery beigy-gold bronzer with brown mascara/eyeliner, a brow fixative, and a sheer, keyword sheer, burgandy gloss. It wouldent be too heavy or fake looking, and would enhance rather than hide your features.

hey... well i say go for a brown eye shadow and put a light shimmery color over that and under your eye brows so it makes ur eyes open up. then black mascara and eyeliner. and a soft pink blush. clear lip gloss with a nice lip liner in beige! lol hope i helped bye!

I think you should use brown mascara-it'll go with your hair better than blakc and look more natural. I would try peaches and browns. Stick to neutrals. The pink lip gloss is good.

hi there! id be happy to give you tips, and by the way you are so beautiful.

if you want a glam look, i would go for maybe light purple e/s's, example MAC's digit.

but, here are some looks in MAC cosmetics you may want to look at....www.maccosmetics.com is where you can find descriptions but if you want to see the real colors, go to http://www.ninehells.com/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=mac_cosmetics - http://www.ninehells.com/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=mac_cosmetics

anyway here are the looks:

1) Eye: HUSH Frost Eye Shadow (a very pale peach with subtle pink
iridescence) from lashline to brow bone, TEDDY Eye Kohl Pencil (a smoky
blackened bronze) and BRONZE Frost Eye Shadow (a medium-deep warm bronze
shimmer)in the crease.

Lip: STRIPDOWN Lip Pencil (a light, subdued neutral brown with
yellow undertones) with FRENZY Frost Lipstick (a neutral peachy-pink beige
Frost).

2) Eye: SHROOM Satin Eye Shadow (a subdued pale beige infused with a
subtle golden opalescence) from lashline to brow bone and inner corner of
eye. TEXTURE Velvet Eye Shadow (a muted peachy brown with subtle
shimmer) from lashline to crease. Teddy Eye Kohl Pencil applied from the
outer 2/3rd of the eye along top and bottom lashline.

Lips: SPICE Lip Pencil (a nude) filled in with EXHIBITIONIST
Amplified Lipstick (a peachy melon) and toped with LYCHEE LUXE Lipglass (a
shimmery warm peachy pink).

4) Eye: Hush Frost Eye Shadow from lashline to brow bone. In your
crease blend BEHOLD Veluxe Eye Shadow (a soft muted brownish grey). Line
along your upper lashline with BOOT BLACK LIQUID Liner. Smudge Behold Eye
Shadow along the outer corner of the lower lashline.

Lip: Line your lips with SUBCULTURE Lip Pencil (an underground pink)
and fill in your lips with B-CUB Frost Lipstick (a very pale cool pink
with a violet/pink opalescence).

5) Eye: Shroom Satin Eye Shadow from lashline to brow bone. HAUX Satin
Eye Shadow (a soft rosy brown) in the crease. Teddy Eye Kohl as liner.

Lip: WHIRL Lip Pencil (a dirty rose) filled in with SKEW Frost
Lipstick (a subdued warm coral-pink frost). Topped with CLEAR Lipglass.

i hope some of this will maybe give you an idea....feel free to write back with any questions
