How do I remove hair dye from my skin? I dyed my hair myself and now I have black splotches on my forehead and neck!

Thanks!

Hi teekup:

I am sure by now that the dye on the skin has washed off. However here is a tip for the next time you color hair. Place vaseline around your hairline before applying the tint. Just make sure you do not get any vaseline on the hair because if you do the hair won't tint. You can also use cholesterol, which can be purchased at your local drugstore, and it will work as well as vaseline. If you aren't wearing plastic gloves get yourself a pair as well. Black or dark tints are really hard to get rid of. Good luck. Forest
