I dyed my hair around 10pm tonight (it's 2:45am now). I used Feria highlighting Chestnut Blonde. I am usually dark brown/almost black haired. What resulted is only copper color on my roots! I have another black hair dye, the one i normally use, and I was wondering if it's safe to dye my hair again within 24 hours? I really really want to, I just don't want to go bald!!! thanks, kt |

I have dyed my hair twice in one day before, in emergency cases. I think it's just not recommended because your natural scalp oils are supposed to help protect it from the harsh chemicals. Unfortunately, it's after 4:30 a.m. and I can't write anything more intelligent than that :-P . Maybe someone can help more. ------------- More awesome than a manatee! |

i wouldnt recommend it. it hink it would be safer to apply a black semi-prmanent/rinse to your hair. then after about 2 weeks, go back and do the permanent ------------- public.fotki.com/Weaveitup - public.fotki.com/Weaveitup |

If it's not too late, then you should probably wait at least 24 hours before you re-dye. I've done that quite a few times and my hair looks pretty healthy. Also, it's good to wait a week to see exactly what color your hair looks like after the dye has settled. ------------- **Hair type: 2a, which is wavy and fine. **Color: Naturally dark brown, currently dyed reddish brown. **Length: below shoulder length |
