| wassup ya'll i been trying to get waves forever but its not working .I'm going to get my haircut this week and start all over so i need sum help.ima get a light ceasar now i have nappy thick hair but do i use a hard brush on my hair afta i get a hair cut? or do i use the soft brush i already have.pomade how do i correctly put it in my hair and do you wash ur hair afta its in because doesn't it make ur waves go away.jus a couple of vital questions i need answered so i can make this work. |

After I get a cut I use the softy and only the softy for a week. Then I go to the med, then the hard once my scalp can take it. U can put pomade in ur hair, don't put too much and wash at least every 3 days or so. concentrate more on brushin than pomades. only use it when u have 2. otha than that hit the softy and moistorize -------------

use dat softy wen u get a cut. If u wanna use a med as ur hair grows. Brushing is the key and you should be doing that on a regular. You can use what ever product you like, its really up to u but most of us now prefer 2 dry brush. da only time i dry brush is when i get done washing my hair, and i only wash twice out of a week...is dat iight, or i need to be doin more dry brushin???

its really up to you and when you see the most improvement. I see more improvement when i dry brush.

ya dont get too focused on pomade cuz your going to spend all of your money on it and later on you will figure out that the brush is what gives you waves not the pomades ------------- |

see now u know that brushing is the main thing to give you waves not your pomades i thought that dax gave me waves so i put it in brushed like crazy found out that it wasnt the pomade that gave me waves it was the brush all the pomade did was help keep my hair down and in place ------------- |

Basically all moisturizers gon do that but thas ova tyme ya dig, dat cc and pink is wut ppl mainly stik wit. I cant really explain but for sum reason dat cc is jus better even tho it do da same as erthang else. Im sure a lot of ppl agree too! Ask king shuffle, he called da dayum company ta let em know how good it wus.lol. -------------

Da CC is wut u gon use erday mornin, nite, or wheneva u use ur moisturizer in ya meth, I dont really know dat much about dat S-Curl, but I stik wit da cc and pomade, but since my hair is short rite now I leave da pomade alone until my hair starts ta get thick to lay it down more ya know. So ask ppl about dat S-Curl mane ull find ur answer. Aight then.-one- -------------

it works well for high hair. i remember when i 1st started in the wave game i used the dax red can and applied TOO much resulting in my hair lookin kitted (jus white cos 2 much dax was applied). I know that someone has probably answered this already, but is it at all possible for people with straight hair to get waves. I am mixed and I have been following these instructions to get my waves. If it is possible how long will it take to start getting results.

I'm really glad to have seen this forum guys! I was looking for these instructions on just getting simple waves for my 2 and a half year old who has nappy hair and hates getting the hair brushed period! But thanks to u guys and your suggestions i have a spray bottle and a medium type of brush and i'm going to invest in a du rag or wave cap whichever one that doesn't move when he sleeps!
So again thanks because these forums does help! So keep those pics coming along with the progress!

| What up, I have had waves on the top and the back of my head. The only problem are the sides. I have soft hair and and i wash my hair every 2 days. I use a medium hard brush then a hard brush when my hair gets long. I brush my hair a lot. The grease i use is sportin waves and 360 stylin. I havent tried pink lotion or carrot cream yet. What am i doing wrong? |

yeah it does. you should use a softy or a medium when yo hair is low.
and a hard when yo hair is high. in some cases people can jsut stay wit
thw low anytime they want to.

ay i dn use a durag r wave cap....nd my waves stil be like half the dudes on here braggin....but all i do to get em is wash it every like 4 days, put a hot wet wash cloth on my hair, dry it a bit, put the sportin waves, brush it alot then go out... ------------- i get it...
