Yeah lets.....
Is hip hop in critical condition, in the morgue, or on life support?
Rock n Roll, Disco, had it's run and fizzled.
The artists that have the most philisophical content....get ignored, unbought, and the lyrics that come from the penis get the most spin.
now,,,, as a hip hop cheerleader, I can tolerate some penis inspired lyrics, b/c some have a nice flow cool, I like the twist of a phrase, play with, metaphors and dangle participles ever so clever
urrthang truly ain't fa urrbody.
I'ts entertainment true, but
artists that are tortured by something greater than gettin rich always leave us with something deeper.
it's not gangsta to rap about something deeper....youngstaz dont want something profound in their music (not all but most) want shake ya azz , getcha dyck licked lyrics.
Unlike Chris Rock, I am not finding it increasingly difficult to defend hip hop, I don't see it on trial gatdamit! I will lettem know it's poetry, just like these 2 mil painting that look like my cat, jumped into a can of old paint and danced on the canvas. I love hip hip and I ain't gone eva quit.
But behind closed doors with my peeps ....yeah seems like brag tracks, dyck lickin, finest pu55y, themes crackin whips like slave masters,
be coz they are paid for the emptiest crap!!!

The 3 of us need to boost participation of the hip-hop forum we all need to get together and figure some things out there are some changes already being made . We all need to be on the same page because it reflects our management skills and everybody is managing their sections well I'm going for the overall benefit of all 3 of us though. -------------

How about we do somethin like SS did. A game. Maybe use some quotes from artist and if members guess the artist and song they get points and the person wit the most points after 24 hours gets 2 choose a game named after them the next week or somethin. IDK ------------- |

I saw Pac in the Chi-
b4 jail...he was a man of small stature but he was good. he was still good lookin though just not cut...he gave a good show....the facility put yoyo on the ticket and 1/2 way thru told us she wasn't comin right....Pac came out did about 3 songs, and then he said
naw...naw...I aint given yall a messed up show like that..... and then he did like 4 more songs....man I had NO DIGNITY LOL
watchin him perform, front row that was the groopiest night of my life....(besides the night I grabbed Redmans hand and refused to let it go)....Ha ha ha ha lol
It's been a while sinse I went to a hip hop concert.....I am trying to go see jill scott in STL comin up in Sept
I always wanted to see Bone Thugs N Harmony...never did

You can set the pic up if you have an image host like photo bucket, myspace, or even yahoo if you have pics on there you just have to go to properties and copy the url address and come back here and go to edit profile and then you are going to do IMG[] then put in the image URL and the /[]IMG of course I had to put everything backwards or you wouldnt be able to read any text. -------------

You just have to sign up and then you start uploading pics from your computer after that you just copy the image code at the bottom right of the screen. -------------
