My Hair Type Is Soft I Used To Have Long Hair But Recently Cut It.

Yo, I have that same kind of hair no joke, looks just like mine... My buddy said Yes I could too... Just wolf for awhile, and put a lot of work into it. When you not Brushing, have a wave cap/dew rag on. If you don't have wave cap/dew rag on be brushing.
Is this right? Also can someone hook me up with what I should put in my hair. Cuz I have nothing
