| My friend is African American. Her roots are gray and she wants braids. She colored her hair so that the gray does not show. How long should she wait to get braids? she is getting genie locs( yarn braids). |

If the hair
is just colored and not permed a week is a good waiting period, at which time
applying leave in conditioners will help restore moisture and balance to the
natural hair. Always spray the scalp with a good braid spray while wearing braids. ------------- StrandzofaDiva |
