Hi,

I'm a hairstylist and I really want to go to Las Vegas and can't afford it without some deals.

I've heard that playing myVegas.com on Facebook is a great way to get points for trips to Las Vegas.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get more loyalty points or figure out which comps are the best?

Check out this awesome thread about myVegas.  I didn't write it but I found it on one of my favorite travel sites:

Note:  I tried to post link but it wasn't working....so...here is the basic thread:
**********************************************************************
There's different methods of playing the game, and for myself, the method I've used has paid off so far. I've racked up over 1.2 million LP since I started playing. You don't have to play hours on end... You just have to play smart.

My go-to game has been Bet the Farm. I almost always bet around 1700 per spin. I put it on auto-spin (25 spins) and see how things go. I swear the game is temperamental some nights and you just bleed chips... and its best to just stop playing. Otherwise, just let it go in the background.

With that being said.. Here's some tips from another group/some of my own tips.

Be sure to follow the MyVegas Facebook page ( http://slickdeals.net/?sdtid=5664554&sdpid=66376208&sdfid=30&lno=5&trd=https+www+facebook+co+wbr+m+myve&u2=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fmyvegas" rel="nofollow - https://www.facebook.com/myvegas ) You get a small bonus on your daily spin and they post chips every day. You'll also learn if they have any special events going on like double XP happy hours.
  • Your daily spin pops up every 22 hours. Be sure to take advantage of this. As you level up, the spaces that appear on your spinner increase in value
  • You can earn a max of 2,000 LP in a rolling 24 hours. This does not include any LP earned from your daily spin, collecting from casinos from your strip, or from leveling up, its solely based on game play.
  • Anytime you see they have double XP happy hour/weekend, take advantage of it. Usually happens once a week or every other week. You can level up pretty quickly, especially when you're just starting out on the game.
  • Building your strip - When you're trying to collect V's... bet low. I used to play Bet the Farm at 40 chips and put it on auto. You won't lose that many chips as the payout is pretty good in the game. You can usually build some of the bigger hotels in a matter of hours (Aria & MGM).
  • Betting strategy - You earn 10 LP's for X amount of chips played depending on the level you're at and game playing. Unfortunately some of the logic behind it doesn't make sense... but if you follow what I say below, you'll be getting the most LP for the least amount of chips spent.
  • Level 29 to Level 58 - Bet per Spin
    Jules Verne / Lucky Birds - 40, 100, 200
    Excalibur / Studio City - 60/150/300
    Bet The Farm: 34
  • Level 59 to Level 140 - Bet per Spin
You'll want to bet 1000 to 1500 per spin depending on the game.
Rewards
  • You're only allowed to redeem 3 MLife rewards within a rolling 30 day period. It doesn't matter when you purchased the reward, its when you consume it... (stay at the hotel, see the show, drink your draaank) Along with those 3 MLife rewards, you can also choose something from Wolfgang Puck, Las Vegas Monorail, etc. without it counting towards your 3.
Most rewards expire after 90 days of purchasing. However, you have 90 days to book your hotel/show tickets, but you don't actually have to be heading to Vegas within that time frame. You could select the reward in February, book in March, and not check-in into the hotel until July.
  • If you have the points for a reward that you want, get it! Rewards come and go with no notice. Prices have also increased without notice as well. Worst case scenario, as long as 90 days haven't passed (or that you have redeemed the reward already), you can request a refund of LP from support.
  • You're usually only allowed one type of reward per cycle (Usually a new cycle is when the LP price changes).
