It looks like a rough first cut before styling. The style looks amateurish to me. If the ends were turned under, it would look fine, I think.  |

IMO this is a pretty clear cut example of "pretty" and "elegant" vs "fun" and "edgy". IMO her traditional long look is pretty and enhances her traditional beauty a lot. This new look is not as "pretty" but is totally fun and edgy in a way that makes her more interesting given my personal preferences. I'd rather have a beer or coffee with short haired JH than the long hair version because she just seems more fun. That said I think this trend will hit pretty hard and be short lived. I would expect she'll either go shorter or be back to extensions sometime soon.

Those bangs are the most amazing I've seen all year. It's the best part of this hairstyle. Why can't some of you "always love short" folks like this? And I don't mean "because we like short hair." A real answer please. We all have tastes. ------------- Who has more fun than people? |
