    Posted: October 30 2006 at 7:29pm

I dont think Ive posted an install here in awhile. I think my install posts get boring because they all LOOK THE SAME....LOL

Ive usually always used the Bohyme Silky Straight and Ive used the Bodywave. Between those two textures I prefer the silky straight to the bodywave when wearing this length.  SO the French Refined is COMPLETEY new to me. I installed this a week ago, and it took a little getting used to, but Im LOVING it. I miss the silky smoothness of the silky straight, but honestly this French Refined matches my natural hair texture better, and its less work.

I used about 9 ounces of 22 inch. I could have used WAY less. I have the biggest fullest hair Ive ever had. I could have probably used about 7 ounces, but Im loving this big hair!Big%20smile

I installed with the Pro-tape roll. I like the convenience of the half size. I have 4 ear to ear rows (one of which is triple wefts, the rest double.) And 2 temple to temple rows (double wefts) and then I used LG for the 2 short rows on each side at the top.

what I really like about this texture is I can just be lazy and scrunch it for waviness. Or curl (I gotta have curl) and the curls last like crazy. These pictures were taken 10 hours AFTER curling my hair when I came home from work this evening.  The curl doesnt drop...doesnt droop...doesnt loosen. And the other day, I was out in rain for about an hour off and on. It was a crappy light rainy day and the curls didnt fall like most textures.

That's absolutely gorgeous hair Sherrie!

You only curled the bottom right?  If you hadn't curled it would it all look like the part above the bottom 4-6 inches or is that straightened?

Is the French Refined also Bohyme or is it a different brand?

I blowdry the top. My hair on top blowdries mostly straight, with just a little wave. My natural hair is a little wavy not straight but not curly either. With the silky straight texture or bodywave, I had to use a flatiron on my natural hair on top of the extensions to get a smooth blend. But with this FR I just blowdry the top (No flat iron needed to blend) Then with dryer on low I just dry the length part way til damp. This hair I can curl when slightly damp and it takes curl! Today I just curled it half way up and around the sides.

Yep this is Bohyme French Refined!

Thank you ladies...you are all so sweet!Embarrassed

I love it! Great job (as always) Smile! Does the french refined tangle more than the other bohyme textures? Did you have to buy it in a longer length than usual because of the wave? I'm really curious in trying it, but I have rather straight hair and I don't know if it'd work (it has a little wave at the ends, though). Anyway, GORGEOUS on you!

thanks ladies...I just love how we all 'cheer' each other on! Wink

andreah, no it doesnt tangle anymore than natural long hair. I can fingercomb this hair out a few times a day without any problems. Bohyme is generous with lengths, its always longer than the stated length.

Kirsty. Bohyme is packaged in the standard 4 ounce packages.

Yep its alot of hair, but very manageable!
