Well, I'm looking forward dancing ,starting in July, under the canapy, among an audience of 2, 000 people. There is old fashion dancing as well latin dancing which is very much my favorite.
I find that long hair can easily play an important role in dancing. For example at one of the single function dances there was this very fast dance which I used a bit of the cha cha, followed with the salsa and ending with an extremely sexy meringue. You have to have the right kind of partner that can easily play the role on the floor. I happen to find one that evening. As I was moving my hip very quickly around my dance partner we were very involve with the music, the vibes of the people and all of sudden I flip my hair all over my dance partner and people went nuts. I seriously don't think I could dance sexy without having long hair because I find that people are very much curious of how the hair plays a factor in the dance. I find that men are very involve in those certain dances when one plays with the hair fiipping it, touching it as one moves around their dance partner.
Anyways I finally find a pernament dance partner so we are off this weekend.
ooh! It's always nice to hear stories of long hair and dance. I've seen an ethnic Chinese dance where girls have hair in long ponytails and toss them around. It's really dramatic. Also, in traditional hula, long hair definitely plays a role in the dance, as the female dancers all have hair at least to the waist.
